Sophisticated Living With Automation And Technology Solutions From Harvey Norman Commercial Smart Technologies

Munro House’s architectural and development team wanted to create a revival of sophisticated living within the character-filled suburb of Elizabeth Bay. PBD Architects and Top Spring contacted HNCD in 2022 to design a top-of-the-line residential automation and technology solution for their 30 luxury apartments and penthouses.

HNCD partnered with our supplier SnapOne to provide a Control4 solution as a standard inclusion throughout the entire project. Every single unit comes with commercial grade DALI lighting control, integrations with air-conditioning and extract fans, blinds, TV and audio, as well as smart intercom and security access that allows all residents to access their technology anywhere in the world as long as they have the internet on their smartphone. In addition to the hardware inclusion, HNCD representatives conducted face-to-face walk-throughs with each and every tenant, ensuring that the users had a comfortable handover and were confident in using the technology that was included in their new luxury residences.

The Control4 automation solution also acts as a great provisional base, allowing users to add on to their systems indefinitely. Various users have already added a variety of integrations, including CCTV, motion sensors, customised scenes, additional feature lighting and even a spa!
