Blues V Maroons

Our 150 guests, all massive footy fans, felt they were part of the action while watching Game One, State of Origin, live on the big screen at Coogee Surf Club. Pre-game, we had plenty of entertainment with our hilarious MC Steve Gillis (Chimes), who presented celebrity videos from coaches Laurie Daley, Ricky Stuart, and Brad  Fittler, all praising Alan  Stephenson and his HNC team for their support and the charities they support in the community.  

Chimes interview the entertaining legendary racing journalist Ken Callander and an inspirational superstar of the NRLW, Jessica Sergis,  Australian International rugby league footballer who plays for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL Women's Premiership and the Helensburgh Tigers in the NSWRL.

Guests were all decked out with Blues bennies as they enjoyed fabulous food, including the obligatory footy tradition of sausage and meat pies all washed down with cold beers.

Guests included our Plumbers and builders from Swift Plumbing, Alliance Project Group, Hitech Plumbing, Planet Plumbing, Quick Plumbing and Cabe Developments  to name a few.

The atmosphere and action was electric; the Blues were favourites, but in the end, the Queensland Maroons caused a slight upset and won, defeating the  NSW Blues 16-10.

Congratulations to Chris Holt of CDC Plumbing and Dak Murley from DJM Electrical who won an ILVE Retro Underbench Fridge.
